How the AI works

September 30, 2026

1. What the AI does

When an employer creates a job, an AI model writes six interview questions from the job description: experience, one skill, schedule, commute, one real situation from the job, and start date.

During the interview it may ask up to two short follow-up questions when an answer is too vague for the employer to use.

At the end it reads the whole conversation and writes a score from 0 to 100, a two-sentence summary, up to three strengths and up to three points to check.

2. What the score means

The score reflects how well the answers match the stated requirements, schedule and experience. It is not a prediction of job performance and it is not a decision. Grammar, accent and spelling are not scored.

3. What the AI never uses

It is instructed never to ask about or consider age, race, religion, sex, pregnancy, disability, health, marital or family status, or national origin. It does not see photos or hear voices; it only reads text.

4. Human decision

Every hiring decision is made by a person at the employer, who can read the full transcript. Applicants can ask the employer or us for a human review of their answers.

5. Limits

Speech recognition can mishear words and the model can misunderstand. That is why the transcript is always shown next to the summary.
